Foam tape is made by coating one or both sides of EVA or PE foam as the substrate with solvent based (or hot melt) pressure-sensitive adhesive, and then laminating it with release paper. It has the functions of sealing and shock absorption. It has excellent sealing performance, resistance to compression deformation, flame retardancy, and wettability. The product is widely used in electronic and electrical products, mechanical components, various small household appliances, mobile phone accessories, industrial instruments, computers and peripheral equipment, automotive parts, audio-visual equipment, toys, cosmetics, etc.
Main characteristics
1. Has excellent sealing performance, avoiding gas release and atomization.
2. Excellent resistance to compression deformation, which means that the elasticity has durability, can ensure that the accessories receive long-term shock protection.
3. It has flame retardancy, does not contain harmful or toxic substances, does not residue or contaminate equipment, and is not corrosive to metals.
4. Can be used in various temperature ranges. It can be used in the range from negative Celsius to Celsius.
5. The surface has excellent wettability, is easy to bond, is easy to manufacture, and is convenient for punching and cutting.
6. Long lasting adhesion, large peeling, strong initial adhesion, and excellent weather resistance! Waterproof, solvent resistant, high temperature resistant, and has good adhesion on curved surfaces.
Usage method
1. Clean the dust and oil stains on the surface of the adhered object before pasting, and keep it dry (do not paste on rainy days with damp walls). If used for pasting mirrors, it is recommended to clean the adhesive surface with alcohol first.
2. The working temperature during pasting should not be lower than 10 ℃, otherwise a hair dryer can be used to heat the adhesive tape and surface appropriately.
3. Pressure sensitive tape has its best effectiveness after 24 hours of pasting (when pasting, the tape should be pressed as tightly as possible), so when pasting vertically load-bearing objects such as mirrors, with both sides already adhered, it should be laid flat for 24 hours first. If this condition is not met, support should be applied to the load-bearing object within 24 hours of vertical adhesion.
